How to Live in Abundance

To manifest your best life, you need to vibrate in love.

Often, we find ourselves thinking negative thoughts and living in the trenches of gloom, perhaps even struggling with depression and full blow panic attacks.

Experts tell us to change our thoughts and we change our lives, but this is easier said than today.

So, what are some tools we can use to change our minds and manifest a truly blessed and abundant life?

1.      Become aware of what you are thinking. Before you can change your thoughts, you need to practice bringing awareness to where your mind wanders and “catch” it when it roams to negative concepts. This takes practice. Practice taking time during your day to stop and ask yourself what you are thinking. Once you begin to examine your thoughts you can begin to change them. Be patient with yourself as it will take time to get good at catching the negative thoughts but as you do, you can begin to remove this type of thinking.  

2.      Breathe through the negative thought and visualize the thought leaving with the exhalation. This is the first step of releasing negativity.

3.      However, nature does not like a vacuum so you must replace the negative thought with a positive affirmation, otherwise your mind will get pulled back into the same negative pattern you are trying to release. Once you have exhaled the negative thought, replace it with a positive affirmation. For example, if you caught yourself thinking that you were inadequate, begin by releasing this negative thought as you exhale, and then as you inhale say “I am enough” or a similar positive mantra. Return to that mantra throughout your day and repeat it when you are falling asleep at night. This will begin reprogramming your mind.

4.      Start your day with meditation, even if you only have a few minutes to practice. This puts you in a positive mindset to start your day! A short meditation before you fall asleep will also help to reinforce positive energy into your body as you sleep.

5.      If you feel a panic attack or negative energy bubbling up, catch it right away, and do some deep breathing that will shut off the sympathetic nervous system. Breathing in as you count to 4, pause at the top of the breath, and exhale for the count of 8. This will shut off the flight or fight response and return your body to a parasympathetic state, allowing you to feel calm and in control.

6.      One of the best ways to elevate your vibration and tune in to all the Universe has to offer is to find abundance in everything around you. When you live in love and gratitude, you attract more abundance and love into your life.

7.      Take a gratitude walk or keep a gratitude journal. You will not stay in negative spaces when you practice being thankful.
