Two Homemade Face and Body Moisturizer Recipes
These homemade moisturizers can be used on your face and body. I created these formulas to help with my own skin issues and both are easy to make!
COCONUT - CASTOR OIL MOISTURIZER
1 Cup of Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil
1/2 Cup of Organic, hexane-free, extra virgin, expeller expressed Castor Oil.
1 tsp of Pearl Powder (optional)
Place in a 16 ounce mason jar. Mix well and apply to the skin daily. I linked the brands I used in the recipe. You can use any high-quality castor oil but if you add the Pearl Powder, use only the brand from Cultivate Elevate in the link above.
You can also take a 1/2 teaspoon of the Pearl Powder orally once a day as this can help with skin issues.
ESSENTIAL OIL TALLOW MOISTURIZER
1 Cup of Organic Tallow
Your Favorite Essential Oil - (Mine is peppermint which soothes itchy skin)
1 tsp of Pearl Powder (optional)
Mix a few drops of organic essential oil - enough to make the scent you desire - into the tallow and stir in the Pearl Powder (optional).
Briotech - You may want to spray your skin with Briotech to clean the skin before applying the moisturizer.
While natural products for skin care are great, healing skin problems requires getting to the core of what is creating skin issues, which often is linked to poor “gut” health. Deep healing happens when imbalances are addressed from the “inside- out”.
Therefore, while these products can provide relief from skin issues, they should be combined with a proper Mineral Balancing Program, that also addresses gut health, and will get to the root cause of skin issues.
