Breathing Exercise

Today's video is short and sweet. Learn, in less than 10 minutes, a breathing exercise that will shut off the sympathetic nervous system.

BREATHING TECHNIQUE: Here is an easy breathing technique you can use to calm your mind, release chaos, and shut off the sympathetic nervous system. Breath in and out through the nose if possible. If this is uncomfortable, breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breath in for four counts, hold the breathe for four counts, exhale slowly for eight counts and pause at the bottom. Imagine breathing in love and exhaling negative thoughts and emotions. Repeat several times and feel the calmness that infuses the body and mind.

This breathe can be done anywhere and at anytime. Practice this breathe when you feel anxious, angry, frustrated or overwhelmed. Let me know how it works for you!
