NLP co-founders, Richard Bandler and John Grinder, originally promoted NLP in the 1970’s as an effective and rapid form of psychological therapy capable of addressing the full range of problems that psychologists are likely to encounter, from phobias, to depression to learning disabilities.

NLP is often used to help with addictions to cigarettes, as well as food, and is effective in helping many people lose weight. NLP can help you increase your income as the mind is trained to reach new goals and achieve success! NLP can even help you find a new fulfilling relationship or redefine your current one.


Simply put NLP is a practice that uses various modalities to give you the tools you need to be successful, overcome addition, and reprogram the way you think. With NLP I don’t need to know why you have an addiction or are suffering from underachievement in any area of your life.

The reason a problem exists isn’t important to the application of NLP so there’s no time wasted getting to the root of a problem but rather just addressing the issue at hand. There’s no delving into your past to forcing you to identify the source of the problem but time is more efficiently spent in activities that help reprogram the thought patterns, especially on a subconscious level.

As a NLP practitioner I understand that you are able to make those hardcore “conscious” decisions with nothing more than determination only for a short period of time. Once you are hungry, angry, lonely, or tired, you find your resolve is weakened and your willpower is gone. This is true for all of us! This is when we fall back into making decisions and doing exactly what we don’t want to do.
